Thanksgiving 2008 and Shiloh's 1st Birthday
Without a doubt, this was our best Thanksgiving ever. Of course, since our family is so large, and somewhat scattered across the US, there are always people that I wish could have been there with us. But barring that, we had a beautiful day together. The "kids table" this year doesn't look very "kid-like" anymore because all of our young ladies and gentlemen are so grown up. But soon we will have a new "kids table" with Shiloh and her niece and nephew and any other babies that God blesses this family with. One of the reasons this Thanksgiving seemed so great was that we really had the best of both worlds. We had our older children here and they were so helpful and really made Thanksgiving dinner their own this year! Brooke and Colton made the pumpkin pie, Sammy made the pecan pie, Nicky made cranberry sauce and green bean casserole, and sweet potatoes! Sam and Isaac made their super duper mashed potatoes and....well you get the idea. Then we also had the little ones to dote on and cuddle and chase around. Thank you, Jesus, for my crazy beautiful family!
